Being in love means savoring the beauty of small moments. For me it's the endless conversations with him when the kids are asleep at night. It's also about the lazy mornings cuddling with the kids, in our big king size bed. It's also about cooking with my little guy or camping with the whole bunch. Every time I feel immense gratitude over all those beautiful memories that we are creating together.

My second dad, gone too quickly, too soon. An ordinary photo, but so precious to us.

That morning, I was taking a walk with my camera and took this photo. Little did I know it would be the one I'd look at every day after he left. When life moves too fast, whether it's with our family or our significant other, we don't take the time to capture those little moments that are often the most precious. And yet, sometimes it's just the right moment to take THE photo. The one that might be the last, the most important of all.
